JOHN D. HOROWITZ, MD
Dr. Horowitz was born in New Jersey and received his BA degree Cum Laude from Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
He attended the Temple University School of Medicine in Pennsylvania where he graduated in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor
Medical Society. He stayed on at Temple to complete residency training in Surgery. From
there, Dr Horowitz went to the Ohio State University Hospitals for Fellowship training in Peripheral Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Horowitz is Board Certified in both General and Vascular Surgery and has received academic acclaim with numerous
publications and teaching faculty appointments. Dr. Horowitz has been practicing Vascular Surgery in Orlando
since 1993 and has concentrated his practice on minimally invasive vein therapies and endovascular treatment of arterial disorders.
Dr. Horowitz is nationally regarded as a leading expert in Endovenous Radiofrequency and Laser Ablation of the superficial
venous system. His practice is frequently used as a training site for physicians seeking to learn these
new minimally invasive techniques. Dr. Horowitz is active in many societies including the Southern Vascular
Society, the Florida Vascular Society, and the American College of Phlebology.
